This fun staff welfare area started life as a series of small, bland rooms adjacent to locker and changing facilities. The new space had to function as a busy catering facility as well as a place for employees to relax and connect with their colleges, grab a hot meal at lunchtime, snack, or break-time coffee.
Removing the oppressive suspended ceiling, leaving the services fashionably on show and spraying the resulting void black, gave a contemporary edge to the resulting space. Bespoke ceiling lighting suspended at jaunty angles creates energy and flow, matching in with the client’s bold brand identity.
This revamped staff canteen has become so popular with employees across the board, the location is now favoured to hold relaxed meetings and catchup with emails on the go.
